Local SMEs support Quilley College Enterprise project…


Local members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and Southern Business Growth Network SBGN have been helping young people at Quilley College, Eastleigh to take part in an enterprise project. Pupils from years 7, 8 and 9 were invited to work in small teams to set up a business and to plan and design a product or a service.

The students were involved in some of the basic business skills including design, branding, budgeting, marketing, market research etc. Over 200 children took part and many of the school staff said that the school was ‘buzzing’ with enthusiastic pupils! The project finished with a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style event where the finalists were invited to present their ideas. IMG_3656
